What You'll Learn

Big changes are here for the Certified Meeting Professional exam, administered by the Events Industry Council. As of August 2025, three additional domains are being added to the CMP exam: Sustainability and Social Impact, Technology Integration, and Evaluation Process.

Our CMP Exam Prep course materials have been updated to cover all twelve domains.

Earning your CMP designation showcases your expertise to employers and clients, enhances your standing among your peers, and increases your earning potential. But with the last standardized exam in the rearview mirror for many, navigating your certification journey can be intimidating.

Led by expert instructor Carolyn Browning, our CMP Exam Prep course is designed to provide you with the strategies, resources, and knowledge to be successful when sitting for the CMP exam.

While our students have a success rate of almost 100%, taking or completing this course does not guarantee passing the CMP Exam.

With a practice exam, study groups, live class sessions with the instructor, and test-taking tips to reduce anxiety, you’ll be able to identify skills gaps, develop a personal learning plan, and get comprehensive support as you work toward certification.

This course is ideal for meetings and events professionals who:

  • Need support preparing for the exam
  • Submitted their applications but are unsure how to focus their studies

Weekly Live Class Sessions

Join your instructor and fellow students to ask questions about course content, the exam process and get additional practice answering test questions. (If you can’t make the live class, all are recorded and available for viewing at a later date). Live classes are planned for Thursdays at 12 pm PST | 3pm EST (subject to change).

Peer-based Community Forum

Connect with fellow learners between sessions to ask questions, share real-world examples, and learn from each other’s experiences. The forum is also a great place to stay motivated, get unstuck quickly, and build relationships with other professionals in your cohort.
